The Milford Sound cruise, the crown jewel of Fiordland, truly showcased why it's considered one of the "Eighth Wonders of the World." September's weather was unpredictable, with rain and even snow falling in the higher elevations of the mountains. However, this weather, in turn, created numerous temporary waterfalls, creating a spectacular sight. The experience of gliding between the majestic glacial cliffs was truly captivating.
