The lakeside town of Te Anau was the base for our Fiordland National Park trip. Te Anau in September was particularly quiet and peaceful, with fewer tourists. The accommodations and restaurants here served as the perfect base camp for our Milford/Doubtful Sound tour. The sunset over Lake Te Anau was particularly peaceful, and we could see wild birds leisurely frolicking around. Thanks to the September TravelSupport, we were able to stay in Te Anau for a few days and leisurely prepare for our tour.
