[Kamakura] The moving journey of Enoshima Shrine

Although Enoshima Shrine has an elevator, I chose to climb the stairs. The climb was a bit tiring, but each step felt like a buildup of anticipation. The moment I saw the shrine in front of me, I was so excited 😍. It felt like I had made it all on my own, which gave me a special sense of accomplishment.

The tranquil atmosphere around the shrine, combined with the refreshing island breeze, made the effort worthwhile. If you have time, I recommend walking up the stairs; it'll truly make your trip even more memorable!

✔️ You can choose to ascend by elevator or stairs.
✔️ The stairs are a bit more tiring, but you'll have the added bonus of walking all by yourself.
✔️ The shrine is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
