📍Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival Maizuru Park

I went to the Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival at Maizuru Park, which is being held from March 26th to April 6th🌸

This is a very popular cherry blossom viewing spot where you can enjoy the combination of beautiful cherry blossoms and the historic castle ruins, with about 1,000 cherry trees in full bloom.

The Sakura Gourmet Area (11:00-22:00) was bustling with an amazing number of food stalls☺️

You can now enter the castle tower base, and security guards are limiting the number of people climbing at one time to ensure safety.
It will be lit up at night and become a paid area🌃
During the day, you can enjoy the view from the castle tower for free🌸
The cherry blossoms looking down from above are spectacular🌸
The weeping cherry trees in the Ninomaru cherry blossom avenue were also very beautiful🌸
The lighting at night (18:00-22:00) is also recommended at night as the atmosphere is different from daytime and fantastic🌃
