Cultural Tour: Explore the History of Fukuoka

At the Fukuoka City Museum, I stepped into a palace of history and culture. The design of the museum is simple and generous, and the exhibition areas are clearly divided, which gave me a deeper understanding of the history of the city of Fukuoka. The first thing that catches your eye is the spectacular archaeological exhibition, with ancient weapons and pottery on display, telling of Fukuoka's glorious past. Walking into the special area of ​​​​"Kushida Shrine", the gorgeous shrine model and exquisite cultural relics made me dazzled, as if I could feel the sacred atmosphere of those ancient rituals. Afterwards, I came to the multimedia exhibition area. The interactive installations made me feel as if I was traveling through the torrent of history and feeling the changes of the times. Finally, we tasted local snacks in the museum’s small cafe and reminisced about this rich cultural journey. The Fukuoka City Museum not only allowed me to see the city’s past, but also let me experience its soul. This journey of exploration will always remain in my memory.
