Make sure to set aside an entire day for Uminonakamichi Seaside Park! When people think of this park, the first thing that comes to mind is the baby blue eyes flowers. From April to May, these flowers attract numerous visitors. If you visit in early April, you might even catch the stunning combination of cherry blossoms and baby blue eyes in bloom.
During this visit in mid-May, the baby blue eyes on the slopes were no longer in bloom. However, there was a rose garden in another area. The park offers different flowers throughout the year. It’s also very family-friendly, with plenty of facilities for children, including a zoo and an aquarium (note that the aquarium requires a separate admission fee).
Bicycles are available for rent within the park, including single bikes, tandem bikes, and family bikes (600 yen for adults for 3 hours, 400 yen for children under middle school age for 3 hours). Electric scooters are also available, though they are more expensive (1,500 yen for 3 hours).
