Fuzhou Three Lanes and Seven Alleys 三坊七巷🌼

The iconic Sanfang Qixiang, literally Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, is a historic and cultural area in the city of Fuzhou. Its name is derived from the three lanes and the seven alleys that comprise the area.

This is an old district of Fuzhou, originally going back centuries, and is now spruced up and modernised to be a shopping district trying to maintain an air of old China.

This is also the hometown of famous Chinese architect Lin Huiyin, I was able to see many exhibitions about her. There are also many little museums, exhibitions, little shops of cultural innovations and tea.
