This time, I visited Yantai Mountain in Fuzhou, a unique district blending history and art. Once a hub for consulates, it still preserves many Western-style old buildings, such as the Shicuo Church and No. 2 Aiguo Road. The weathered brick walls and ornate columns tell stories of a century's worth of history. After renovation, the area now showcases a mix of tradition and modern trends—vintage villas have been transformed into cafes and art spaces, while independent bookstores and craft workshops are hidden within the cobblestone alleys, making every snapshot a work of art. From the heights, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Min River and Liberation Bridge, with the night scenery being particularly enchanting. Although some areas feel overly commercialized and somewhat homogeneous, it remains Fuzhou's most charming spot for a leisurely stroll, daydreaming, and savoring the nostalgia of the past! 🍃🪨
