Too Much Queueing Ruined the Flow"
While the experience inside the Manoir section was phenomenal, the crowd management was sorely lacking. The event relies heavily on having personal space to maximize the psychological scares, but we were stuck in a long, winding queue near the entrance to the Théâtre de Verdure for over forty minutes. Once we finally entered the main grounds, we frequently ran into the group ahead of us, seeing the actors reset their poses and ruining the element of surprise. For an event at this premium price point, timed entry slots need to be strictly enforced with smaller group sizes. The moment-to-moment immersion was broken, which severely detracted from the elegant tension the designers clearly aimed for.
