The area around the ornamental hedge maze provided one of the fastest and most intense scares. The hedges were too tall to see over, and the path was narrow, forcing us to go single-file. The use of sound—a relentless, high-pitched scream that bounced off the dense foliage—combined with rapid, disorienting strobe lights was overwhelming. We lost our bearings entirely. When the actors finally cornered us, the panic was real and immediate. It was a brief but brilliant burst of sensory overload that worked perfectly in the tight confines of the ancient labyrinth.
