1. El Pípila
A popular observation deck with a panoramic view of the entire city. The colorful houses look like something out of a picture book!
2. The colorful old town and its maze-like alleys
Narrow, winding streets, cobblestones, tunnels, suddenly appearing squares and murals... just walking around feels like an adventure.
3. Callejón del Beso (Kissing Alley)
A romantic alley with balconies on both sides. A popular photo spot for lovers.
4. Mummies Museum (Museo de las Momias)
A unique museum that displays natural mummies. A bit scary, but a Guanajuato specialty.
5. University of Guanajuato and Theater (Teatro Juárez)
A representative example of beautiful architecture. It's also great to sit and relax on the steps in front of the theater.
6. Alóndiga de Granaditas
A historical building that was the stage for the War of Independence. The exhibits are also substantial.
