Check in at Chen Clan Academy and appreciate the essence of Lingnan architecture

There is a station called "Chen Clan Academy" on Guangzhou Metro Line 1. This famous landmark was formerly known as "Chen's Academy" and has a history of over a hundred years. Now it has been transformed into a museum and is home to the Guangdong Folk Arts Museum.

This time when I came to Guangzhou, I finally found time to visit it. Its architectural details were the most impressive. Looking closely at the eaves, columns, doors and windows, the stone carvings, brick carvings, wood carvings, plaster sculptures and pottery sculptures are all ingeniously crafted, with vivid shapes, well maintained and rich colors.
