Being in the Huangpu Ancient Port, it feels like walking into the long history of South China Sea trade. The alleys paved with bluestone slabs meander along, and the quaint houses and dock relics silently tell of the prosperity of the past in the baptism of time. Stepping into the Ancient Port Museum, the mottled porcelain, remaining nautical charts and traditional Chinese letters silently tell the glorious story of the Maritime Silk Road. Walking along the harbor, the river water hits the embankment, rippling on the water surface, and the shadows of the ancient trees in the distance create a beautiful contrast.
