Pretty natural wonders

Halong Bay is usually visited from Hanoi. It's easiest done as a day trip on a tour, although this does limit your time and movement.
Once there you already can marvel at the natural rock formations that seemingly float on the sea. Some people say they ressemble dragons, thus its name.
Most tours will take you out on the sea itself on a boat to get an even closer look, and you may even be able to do aquatic activities on the sea.
Overall, it's a fairly relaxing day admiring the natural rock formations at the sea. There isn't much to do but that. Also if you want to kayak on the sea, that's also available.
