The AOMORI GOKAN Art Festival, held at five museums and art centers in Aomori Prefecture where you can enjoy contemporary art, is being held until September 1st.

The Hachinohe City Museum of Art is based on the concept of an "art farm of encounters and learning," where encounters through art nurture people, and people's growth creates a town. I especially like the interior of the second floor.

Here, you can see the exhibition "tupera tupera," themed on the "face" by the creative unit tupera tupera. "Kaoten" is being held until September 1st

The exhibition features interactive and hands-on works such as original picture book illustrations, the video work "Kao Tsuku Rhythm" and "Tokoda Yuo" where you can make your own original face using your body, making it fun for both children and adults

Even though each one is different, it's unique how they become a face when you combine them creatively😂
