Hoa Lo Prison Museum

Hoa Lo Prison Museum, a prison used to imprison Vietnamese dissidents during the French colonial period. Later, when France withdrew from Vietnam, this prison was used by North Vietnam as a place to imprison prisoners of war and American prisoners during the Vietnam War, earning it the pesky nickname “Hanoi Hilton”. It is not a luxury hotel, but a notorious Vietnamese prison that is one of the most brutal in the history of the Asian War. #VietnamTravel #HoaLoPrisonMuseum #Hanoi #MaisonCentrale #Museum #VietnamTravel #HanoiAttractions #OldPrison
