A special dinner at Hanoi's Michelin 1-star restaurant, tầm vị

If you're looking for a special meal during your Hanoi trip, I recommend tầm vị (Tam Vy). This Michelin-starred restaurant offers a charming menu that elegantly interprets local sensibilities.

We ordered the signature Caramelized Pork and Eggs, followed by the Stir-fried Morning Glory and Egg Spring Rolls.
The sweet yet rich caramelized pork (think of it as braised pork with soy sauce) was addictive when paired with rice, and the fresh Stir-fried Morning Glory was light yet full of flavor. The Egg Spring Rolls were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly satisfying. 🥢

While they offer set menus, this portion was enough for two people to fill us up. While the price is a bit higher than typical local restaurants, the guaranteed taste of a Michelin-starred restaurant makes it well worth the experience.
