A must-see spot when visiting Miyajima! ! ! (^^)
In December 1996, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as "Itsukushima Shrine" (^^)
It is located in the northeastern part of Itsukushima (Miyajima) floating in Hiroshima Bay, at the northern foot of Mt. Misen (535m above sea level) (^^)
Itsukushima is commonly known as "Aki no Miyajima" and is counted as one of the three most scenic spots in Japan (^^)
It's also fun to take pictures of the torii gates ⛩️ from various angles (^^)
