Hello everyone~ 🥰 Today, we will take you to taste local food in the countryside in Henan 🇨🇳 My boyfriend's hometown in Xuchang, Xiangcheng!

For those who like spicy food like Thais 🍛 It may be a little shocking 😆 But let me tell you that it's both funny and eye-opening!

1. 🧂 Saltiness comes from afar

The food here is so "salty" that you have to ask for rice 🍚 (which is not available...) or some dishes are so "bland" that you want to secretly bring fish sauce 🤣 But in the end, you can adjust~ ❤️

2. 🍞 Steamed Buns vs. Steamed Rice

Henanese people mainly eat Steamed Buns 🥯 We secretly miss rice a bit 555 But after trying it, hey, it's actually quite good! 😋

3. 🍜 Frequently eaten menu
• 馒头 Mian Tou: Steamed bread without filling, but good to dip with rice
• 粥 Zhou: Clear rice porridge… 🫥
• 烙馍 Luo Mo: Thin dough sheets, used to wrap meat like Chinese crepes

4. 🍲 True Love Recipe Bland Soup
