After visiting Hikone Castle, one of the five famous castles in Japan, if you want to learn more about its history in Bingo, then the Hikone Castle Museum next to it would be a good choice.

The museum is a restoration of the remains of the Edo-era feudal lord's palace. The museum houses about 90,000 pieces of information, mainly art crafts and ancient documents passed down from generation to generation by the Ii family.

The building combines reinforced concrete and wooden restoration parts, and the appearance is coordinated with the historical environment. The museum also reproduces the Edo-era feudal lord's living room, tea room and central Noh stage, and regularly holds Noh performances, allowing visitors to experience the daimyo culture in person.
