The Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is the most famous tourist destination in Ninh Binh.
One of its highlights is traveling through the unique rock formations on a hand-rowed boat steered by a local boatman, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the vast and rich natural surroundings.
Located right next to the Trang An complex is Mua Cave, which attracts both domestic and international tourists. Climbing the 486 steps to the summit leads to the top of the cave, known as one of the most popular check-in spots recently. From the summit, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Ninh Binh's mountains, countryside, and rivers.
The Trang An World Heritage Site is often referred to as the "Halong Bay on land." It features a relatively young karst landscape, formed approximately 240 million years ago. Once submerged underwater, the area rose to create the stunning scenery seen today. Visitors can marvel at this unique landscape, which was also a filming location for the movie 'Kong: Skull Island.'
