February to May is the best time to visit Hoi An, as the weather is dry and cool. Avoid the rainy season from September to January. Which may have heavy rain and flooding in some areas.

Da Nang International Airport is the closest airport, about 30 kilometers from Hoi An. Tourists can continue their journey by taxi, bus or hotel shuttle, taking about 45 minutes.
