Hokkaido | A unique experience on a one-day trip to Asahikawa, Biei and Furano

🌨️ I saw a lot of people complaining that it’s not worth coming. If you don’t like taking pictures, it’s really not fun to come, but if you don’t come, you’ll regret it, haha, that’s how people are! I signed up for a one-day small group, with 9 people in a car. We picked everyone up and set off around 8 o'clock in the morning. The heavy snow on the road was very beautiful, and the scenery along the way was surprising.

🐧 1️⃣Asahikawa Zoo arrived at Asahikawa Zoo around 10:30. The driver bought tickets for everyone to go in and wander around freely. The penguin walk started at 11 o'clock. We had ramen (40+RMB/bowl) for lunch inside the zoo. It's quite big. After watching the penguin walk, I didn't have time to go shopping because I had to gather at 12 o'clock to go to the next location.

🌲 2️⃣Nanahoshi Hill/Christmas Tree Nanahoshi Hill is a row of trees where you can take photos. Because it was snowing heavily at the time, I didn’t take many photos. A carload of people came and left within a few minutes. There were not many people here. In fact, it could be better. When the film was released, the Christmas tree had a more lonely atmosphere. There were many people here, especially Koreans haha.

❄️ 3️⃣ There was originally a green pool on the itinerary of Baihu Waterfall, but the master said that it was frozen and nothing could be seen, so we didn’t go. However, the master showed us another place to take pictures, a trail between two rows of trees. , it’s like being in a movie, it’s super beautiful, there’s a railway next to it for filming, I have to give a thumbs up to the master here👍🏻, after we finish here we go to see Baihu Waterfall, it’s a bit cold here and there’s a lot of snow. , take good measures to keep warm. The scenery here is very spectacular. I think it is worth seeing. The shock you see with your eyes cannot be captured with a mobile phone.

🏡 4️⃣Elf Terrace The people in the car were already a little tired when we got here, so we went down and took a few photos before getting on the car. I felt that this place is optional, nothing special, just a few cabins haha.

🕓 5️⃣We will go back around four o'clock. When we get back to Sapporo at around six o'clock, the chef can send you to Tanukikoji, or you can choose to go back to the hotel.

Summary: If you come by yourself by public transportation, it may not be convenient in such heavy snowy weather, but if you need to visit all the zoo, then this one-day tour is not suitable because you are pressed for time and you won’t be able to see many things. So you can consider finding a day to go to the zoo alone. I personally think that a small group on this day is still okay. For me, haha, I think it is very good. You don’t have to do a guide and someone will drive you there and take you back. Even the road is covered.
