Life in Hong Kong in the past (Mei Ho House)

Hong Kong is indeed a legendary place where "every hurdle is difficult to overcome" (betraying one's age). Just look at how Mei Ho House was transformed from a former building into a witness to history.
Mei Ho House was built in 1954. It was one of the first resettlement buildings built to accommodate the victims of the Shek Kip Mei Fire, marking the beginning of Hong Kong's public housing policy. The museum reproduces scenes from the 1960s and 1970s one after another (former unit facilities, food stalls 🍜, cinemas, street water stations, rooftop schools 🪑), which not only make me feel the difference between the past and the present, but also make me feel the perseverance and love of Hong Kong people back then 💓. To this day, Mei Ho House is still a gathering place for former neighbours, as many former residents would come to act as tour guides in their spare time, recounting the difficulties and emotions of the past in person.
🤔Can you imagine how people used to "#share space"?
>>> People will gather in the 💦 laundry room to play mahjong
>>> Two families of five will live together in a house of more than 100 square feet.
The units are divided into two sections of different sizes by iron sheets.
The life of the inner cage "big side" and "thin side"
>>> When the unit is too crowded, some residents will move their own canvas
The bed is in the corridor 💤
