When talking about eating seafood in Hong Kong, Sai Kung comes to mind.
The one I went to is famous for its unique cooking method.
#六福菜馆 has been awarded one Michelin star for 15 consecutive years since 2010.
The decoration is in the traditional restaurant style, and the dining is comfortable.
It is a suitable environment for a large group of people to dine.
✨Salt and Pepper Crispy Tofu (HKD 84/7 pieces)
Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the thin layer of fried flour wraps the soft and smooth tofu.
🐟Fish Soup (HKD 248/box)
It is a stew filled with a lot of local fish in a bag and tomatoes are added.
The soup tastes fresh and has no fish bones.
✨Steamed abalone in fruit peel (HKD 985/7 pieces + processing fee)
Fresh South African 3-head abalone is so big.
It is steamed just right, so the meat is chewy and not tough.
The smell of the peel is not too strong, and the sweet and fragrant taste is just right.
✨Fried rice noodles with black bean pepper and razor clams (HKD 795/7 pieces + processing fee)
The stir-fried black beans and peppers are very flavorful, and the king clams are not only plump but also refreshing.
But the focus seems to be on frying rice noodles.
The crispy texture is like rice crust, and it absorbs all the essence and tastes even better.
🦀Stir-fried crab with soy sauce (HKD 766/22 taels + processing fee)
Use specially prepared soy sauce to stir-fry, and it tastes sweet.
The meat is firm and sweet, and you can eat every bite of crab meat after removing the shell.
🐟Fried grouper balls (HKD 1460/26 taels + processing fee)
One fish, two meals a day, this one is grouper.
The appearance is exquisite and attractive, the fish bones are fried beautifully, very golden and crispy.
The taste of spotted ball is also very delicate, plump and tender.
🍍Fresh pineapple fried pork ribs (HKD 188)
The sauce just coats the ribs, with just the right amount of sweet and sour.
Use fresh pineapple to stir-fry to make the whole dish sweeter and more refreshing.
🥬Stir-fried Chinese kale with vinegar (HKD 168)
This cooking method removes the bitterness of kale and gives it a very special taste.
🍝Soy Sauce Fried Noodles (HKD 168)
The abundant sesame seeds make the fried noodles more fragrant, and this is also one of the signature dishes.
The fried noodles may look ordinary, but they are fried well and taste delicious.
Dry and non-greasy is another way of saying it.
Finally, for dessert, we had the freshly made coconut milk sago cake every day.
