Tian Tan Buddha ⭐️ Iconic Big Buddha in Ngong Ping 🇭🇰

The Big Buddha is a large bronze statue of Buddha, completed in 1993, and located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, in Hong Kong. If you have watched the famous Hong Kong movie “Infernal Affairs”, you may recognise this iconic place as HK best “fengshui” place🤣

The majestic outdoor bronze Buddha was cast with 250 tonnes of bronze and built over 12 years. You will need to climb the 258 steps to the top if you want to approach it nearer. There is an exhibition inside with air conditioning. The view is stunning from the top too!

I think this is one of the best places to visit in Hong Kong. It’s accessible via the Ngong Ping cable car or bus.
