Central Market: A Baroque Gem in the Bustling City

When I pass through the public walkway on the second floor of Central Market on my way to work, I rarely stop to truly appreciate this Baroque-style architecture in today's modern world.

Central Market has been preserved in its original location for over 20 years. With its original staircases connecting the floors, the three-story building offers unique features on each level:

0️⃣ Ground Floor: Primarily dedicated to full dining experiences, with some bars offering happy hour options.

1️⃣ First Floor: About a quarter of the space is occupied by restaurants, while the rest features various small stalls selling local specialty products, food items, and even coffee stands.

2️⃣ Second Floor: Half of this floor is dedicated to Hong Kong-style snacks and fast food, alongside Slowwood, which sells organic products, and other small vendors.

As a cultural heritage site in the heart of the city, I hope that while focusing on commercial development, more diverse activities and exhibitions can be organized to promote local characteristics and culture. This would provide both local and international visitors with a unique, interactive experience. 😌
