【Hong Kong】 Imperial-style Cantonese cuisine inside the walled area!

Before even entering the restaurant, you’d think you’ve stepped into a palace!

Located in Tai Wai’s walled area, I saw this place called "Sheung Yeung Lau" and decided to try it out. The interior of the restaurant is mainly lake green, and the design of the chairs and tables is very retro.

Ordered a few home-style dishes. The big fish two ways featured thick and firm fish texture, and the Concubine Chicken had a slight chicken juice burst when bitten into 😋 The most special was the dessert sesame roll, which had both the flavor and texture of sesame, something quite rare in Hong Kong.
