Jungle Animal Restaurant

Tonight, I waited for my husband to finish work and took him out for some Western food. I found a cafe near Yau Ma Tei that serves Western cuisine. I saw online that their decor and layout are quite artsy and have a unique style, so I really wanted to check it out and took my husband there to eat.
I ordered the black truffle wild mushroom pasta 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
The pasta here isn’t overcooked; it has a bit of bite because I’m afraid of pasta being too soft and mushy. The black truffle sauce clings perfectly to the pasta, making it very flavorful, and the mushrooms are stir-fried to be fragrant and juicy.
I also ordered the slow-cooked pork (black-haired pork skewers) with sweet potatoes 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 It tastes a bit like Chinese sweet and sour pork, which is really enjoyable, with a slightly sweet and sour sauce and lots of meat juice. The slow cooking really makes a difference. It’s also paired with black vinegar salad greens that are very appetizing, and the portion of sweet potato fries is quite generous.
I also ordered a snack, American sweet and spicy crispy chicken wings (4 pieces) 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 The sweet and spicy sauce combined with the crispy fried chicken wings is juicy with every bite. There are also some black vinegar salad greens served alongside, so it’s not too greasy. The environment here is very comfortable, designed like a jungle animal restaurant. It’s really nice to relax here after work.
