Clear Water Bay Hong Kong: Beach Day That Hits Different

#chinatravel Clear Water Bay in the New Territories of Hong Kong is honestly one of my fave chill spots. It’s like this secret little beachy getaway that’s not actually a secret but still feels super peaceful. Way less hectic than places like Repulse Bay or Shek O, and that’s the best part.

I took a bus from Hang Hau MTR and boom I was there in under 30 minutes. The water’s super clear like the name says and the views are just chef’s kiss. Mountains, boats, soft sand, the whole package. There are two beaches here, First and Second, and both are great but Second Beach has better vibes if you ask me.

No massive crowds, no skyscrapers in sight, just sea breeze and chill energy. There’s even a small kiosk if you need drinks or snacks. Pack a towel, some sunscreen, maybe a speaker if you’re feeling bold, and just relax. Clear Water Bay is a win every time.
