I went to Tsim Sha Tsui for a hot pot buffet. They offer a wide variety of hot pot broths, including a surprising selection of seafood and meat. I ordered the premium short ribs combo and the pepper pork belly hot pot broth. The broths were rich and flavorful, perfect for hot pot.
Of the meats, I was most impressed by the premium short ribs and the Australian M5 Wagyu beef. They were tender, richly fatty, and incredibly delicious. The Angus beef shank and SRF American Black Wagyu beef slices were firm and full of beef flavor. Other options included the American beef shoulder, American pork tenderloin, Brazilian beef tilapia, and Australian lamb cutlets, all of which were tender and flavorful.
Of the seafood, I particularly enjoyed the abalone, oysters, and sweet shrimp. The conch and geoduck slices were fresh and crisp.
The hot pot toppings were also very rich. The king prawns were sweet and textured, and the fish maw and duck blood were incredibly smooth. The roasted suckled pigeon boasts crispy skin and tender meat, while the juicy meat is complemented by the crispy, fragrant, and tender sesame chicken wings and the crispy, sweet, and smooth fried glutinous rice cakes.
A variety of frozen drinks and haagen-dazs ice cream are also available, making for a truly enriching hot pot experience.
