When I was a child, my days in Kowloon Bay were full of joy. My parents would often take me to Telford Cinema to watch a movie, then to the nearby park to play, then to the nearby Telford Plaza to treat my stomach, eat dinner, desserts, etc. Everywhere was full of joy and many memories!

There was a special exhibition in Telford Plaza recently
"Next Stop • Defoe"
Date: August 22, 2025 to October 19, 2025
Location: Kowloon Bay MTR Station, Telford Plaza Phase 1 Ground Floor Atrium and Phase 2 3rd Floor Atrium

There are many photo spots and interactive installations on the thematic exhibition site, and you can deeply feel the changes in Defoe Square.

Theme Exhibition Area 1: "Time Train"
Turn the retro "gate machine" and enter the "time train" to embark on a journey through 45 years of time and space. From the opening of the Kwun Tong Line in 1975 to the phased occupancy and service of Telford Gardens and Telford Center (now Telford Plaza) in 1980, and several important milestones in the Telford community over the past 45 years, savor the precious moments.

Theme Exhibition Area 2: "Fun with the City"
As one of the most iconic large integrated shopping malls in East Kowloon, Telford Plaza has carefully curated several large-scale themed exhibitions and festive decorations over the past 45 years in addition to providing residents with a wide range of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Showcasing several classic moments over the years, together to reminisce about unforgettable wonderful memories.

Theme Exhibition Area 3: "Heart to Community"
As one of the core landmarks in East Kowloon, Telford Plaza has witnessed community development over the past 45 years. It also demonstrated that the Defoe community has participated in or organized several public welfare and charitable activities, witnessing the emotions of the Defoe community.

Theme Exhibition Area 4: "Only Virtue and Blessing"
Telford Plaza has accompanied the growth of the East Kowloon community over the past 45 years. Through the work of professional photographers from [Hong Kong Heritage Beauty], it has revealed the hidden secrets of the community and showcased the unique beauty of Telford community development and the seamless connection between the railway.

Theme Exhibition Area 5: "The 'Interest' of Telford"
By introducing interesting information about Defoe Plaza and Defoe Gardens, Defoe's 'Interest' leads us to rediscover the lesser-known side of this community and presents the different stories of Defoe's community over the past 45 years under the concept of "railway plus community" development.

Interactive Device 1: "Back to the Telford Years"
AI technology generates interesting videos to recreate classic scenes such as MTR Kowloon Bay Station, Telford Center and roller skating rink in the 1980s.

Interactive Device 2: "My Story with Defoe"
Defoe Plaza invites you to share photos related to the happy memories of the Defoe community and display them in digital form to piece together the stories that belong to you and the Defoe community.
