Sakurajima, the symbolic landmark of Kagoshima, Kyushu, is located in Kinko Bay, Kagoshima Prefecture. It is one of the few composite active volcanic islands in Japan that is still very active. There are two craters on the island: Showa Crater and Nandake Crater.
♨️The Yunohira Observatory is located on a mountain at an altitude of 373 meters. It is the highest observatory in Sakurajima and the closest observatory to Sakurajima Volcano. Kagoshima is a volcanic area with various hot springs. Foot bath is one of Kagoshima's famous features, and the Sakurajima Lava Nagisa Park Foot Bath is the longest foot bath in Japan. Tsukuyomi Shrine is located near Sakurajima Pier. It has a history of more than 1,300 years. It is located on the quiet seaside and has now become a power spot on Sakurajima⛩️
