Cruise News 🚨Disney Adventure departs Wismar

After more than six years, Disney Adventure finally departed Wismar for the first and final time. The ship set sail around 6:30 p.m. local time on Monday evening, amidst the rain. Locals gathered in the harbor to watch and cheer as the ship's horn sounded. 🎉

She is currently undergoing sea trials, which will continue until Tuesday evening. 🕙 She will then refuel in Mukran, Germany. Due to draft restrictions, she will be able to refuel only to a limited extent, and a brief stop in Skagen is also planned.

🗓️The ship will then proceed to Bremerhaven for further work. The arrival date is currently scheduled for September 20th in Eemshaven, Netherlands, but this date is subject to change. If all goes well, she may join her sister ship, Disney Destiny, in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱

After that, Adventure will cross the Atlantic. Crew documents indicate her destination is Port Canaveral, though this has not yet been confirmed. There are also rumors that she may call at New York and San Juan. Ultimately, she will continue her journey to Asia, with her maiden voyage scheduled for Singapore in December 2025. 🇸🇬

Disney Adventures originally began construction in 2019 as the Global Dream. Disney purchased the ship in 2022, when it was approximately 70% complete, for a mere €40 million. However, the renovation and refit cost over €1 billion. 💶
