Signature Noodles at Kau Wan Lai

Visited Kau Wan Lai Noodle House in Causeway Bay hoping to try their famous Braised Beef Brisket, but unfortunately, it was sold out today—truly popular! Will have to come back next time to try it. This time, I ordered the Eight Treasures Noodles and Four Treasures Rice Noodles, both served in large portions and packed with ingredients.

▪️ Signature Eight Treasures Fish Noodles
A super rich combination of ingredients including beef brisket, beef tripe, beef tendon, beef balls, pork balls, fish dumplings, squid balls, and fish balls! The broth, made with brisket sauce, is incredibly flavorful and rich. I upgraded to fish noodles, which I highly recommend. The fish noodles are springy in texture, full of fish flavor, and very filling.

▪️ Seaweed Four Treasures Rice Noodles
The Four Treasures include white fish balls, fish dumplings, pork balls, and squid balls. The broth is light but pairs well with fried garlic and scallions, making it quite tasty. The portion of rice noodles is very generous, served in a large bowl!

Crispy, springy, and served hot, accompanied by Thai-style sweet and spicy sauce.
