Half a Century of Legend: Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong

Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong has been internationally renowned since its opening in 1963, and has attracted many celebrities such as Princess Diana, Mrs. Thatcher, US President George H.W. Bush, Yo-Yo Ma, and Leslie Cheung to live here.

As autumn is getting deeper, when I checked in this time, I found that the hotel had made some unique autumn decorations in a corner of the lobby, where guests can check in and take photos.

As for the guest rooms, they are designed with a fusion of Eastern and Western elements. They are spacious, luxurious, clean and tidy. Although the hotel has a history of more than half a century, it is still in good condition. The bathroom toiletries are from Diptyque, there is also a coffee machine, and the bed is king size. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and I slept very well 👍🏼.

Since breakfast was included in my stay and I could choose a buffet breakfast or a set meal, I chose the buffet breakfast at Clipper Lounge. Although the variety was not rich, the ingredients were high-quality, the service staff was professional and friendly, and the dining experience was good.

Overall, the stay was comfortable and worth recommending.
