Hakone, Japan.

I visited Hakone on the weekend and enjoyed a trip from the hot spring town to Hakone Shrine, Owakudani, Ko-Oji Museum, and the open-air hot spring. I was lucky to get up early and avoid the peak crowds!
There is a famous yuba bowl restaurant in the hot spring town, and a line was formed before it opened. After taking a number, I was able to wait while walking around other places, and I waited for about an hour, but the taste was average. If you are interested, you might want to try it.
I had planned to take a photo at the famous seaside torii gate of Hakone Shrine, but gave up when I saw the line of people waiting for two hours.
In Owakudani, the smell of sulfur wafts through the air, and it is said that eating hot spring black eggs will extend your life. It is said that one egg can add seven years to your life.
It was Christmas season at the Ko-Oji Museum, and the illuminations were very beautiful.
The last open-air hot spring I visited, Hakone Yuryo, is highly recommended!
