Painting Daigo in Autumn and Entering Daigo in Spring

Recently, I embarked on a cherry blossom tour in Kyoto, visiting the Philosopher's Path, Gion, Maruyama Park, Toji Temple, Kamo River, and even the Sewari Tei (thanks to a friend). However, Daigoji Temple was the most exhilarating experience! Just like the saying 'After visiting Huangshan, no other mountain will impress you,' Daigoji Temple sets the standard for cherry blossoms. The temple is vast, with cherry blossoms planted both inside and outside, offering a rich variety of species, each in full bloom. Imagine being surrounded by fully bloomed cherry blossoms—it's truly breathtaking!
⏰ Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, recommended visit duration is 1.5-2 hours.
🚗 Transportation: Search for Daigoji Temple; accessible by bus and subway, approximately 40-50 minutes from Kyoto city center (a bit long but worth it).
🎫 Tickets: Daigoji Temple has three gardens, and a ticket is required to view the cherry blossoms. The all-access pass costs 1,500 yen, allowing entry to all gardens. Tickets are available at the entrance of each garden; if one ticket booth is crowded, you can purchase at the other two. Additionally, the paths outside the gardens are lined with cherry blossoms, free to view.
