Yongyeon°Yongduam

Yongyeon°Yongduam

Yongyeon is a small pond where the Hancheon River flowing north to south through the center of Jeju City meets the sea.

The mouth of the Hancheon River where Yongyeon is located was formed by thick lava flowing and hardening, and over the years, it has been eroded to form a deep valley.

On both sides, columnar joints have developed as the lava cooled.

Yongduam is a lava rock on the western shore of Yongyeon.

It was created when highly viscous lava spewed upward.

The exposed rocks are all red basalt.

The lava hardened and was eroded by waves, forming a shape that resembles a dragon's head.

ㅡㅡㅡ

It is not an artificial appearance, but a natural appearance.

We need to create a society where the people of Joseon can also become dragons.

Our ancestors lived in an eco-friendly residential environment with nature as their friend.

We must not carelessly throw away trash on land and sea.

Reducing industrial waste is the responsibility of production, distribution, consumption, etc.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province is a natural island and a world cultural heritage site.

Let's all work together to preserve the great nature of the Earth.
