One day in Shaxi

Going to Shaxi from Lijiang is quite easy and convenient by carpool. It takes around 2 - 2.5hrs for 80y from the LJ old town, 130y from LJ airport. (Find the wechat contacts in attached pic) It's a small, beautiful town with a lot of check-in corners. If you dont have a lot of time 2 -3 hour visit is enough. There are not many tourists in town or not at time that I visited (~ end of Oct) so you can enjoy the chill, relaxing environment while in cozy coffee shops or near the river.
The town looks different at different time during the day: quite early morning, sunny afternoon and lightened evening. #china #shaxiancienttown
