Shaxi Accommodation Sharing

My first visit to Shaxi in 2023 was love at first sight
Perhaps it's also my lucky place
The casual accommodation guide I shared back then gained over 100k+ 👀 views
Recently received many DMs from friends asking for updates
Here's a fresh guide~

Shaxi Ancient Town is small, easily explorable in a day
But if you prefer adventurous or intense travel
You might find it slightly disappointing~
Shaxi's charm is best enjoyed slowly, savoring every moment

Sharing several homestays I've stayed at least once
Personal opinions only, no exaggeration~
Now Shaxi's electric cart service is booming
Very convenient even without self-driving~

For countryside lovers, consider surrounding villages:
【Qingye】
In Changle Village - most memorable for its spacious rooms and large terrace facing wheat fields (but shower 🚿 water pressure fluctuates)
【Daoxiang Banshu】
In Hualong Village - open views with self-grown wheat fields, though rooms are average with some hygiene quirks... Bonus: farm-to-table breakfast veggies

For pet lovers:
【Shiran·Mountain House】
Where Liu Yifei and Li Xian stayed during filming - fat cats 🐱 Zaizai and Adou are adorable! Sun-drenched design, though slightly aged
【Qixi·San'an】
Near granary - a real pet paradise with cats, Labradors, and ponies 🐎. Provides disposable toiletries, though courtyard feels compact

For Chinese aesthetics:
【Yundu Shaxi】
Song Dynasty-inspired three-courtyard layout with ceremonial flow. Koi pond is stunning, exquisite details (even Raven-brand drip coffee!). Steep stairs - elders should book ground floor
【Kegongdi Cultural Hotel】
Neo-Chinese style blending local elements brilliantly (love the pony-shaped curtain hooks!). Flawless except price - luxury-grade facilities with genuinely warm staff. Amazing breakfast 😋, in-house café/tea room (almost excessive afternoon tea...)

For cleanliness-focused:
【Maynian·Humanities】
My default choice when undecided. Impeccable hygiene, gorgeous flower-filled courtyard (summer rose walls!). Decor features owner's private collection (steep stairs again)
Run by retired couple - if they're alone, please handle heavy luggage 🧳 yourself~

【Tips】
1️⃣ Confirm nearby construction when booking; book early during peak seasons
2️⃣ Haggle for electric carts (usually 5-10 RMB/ride)
3️⃣ Sunscreen & hydration!
