🚶🏻‍♂️Tour Routes
Standard route: Shibao Mountain Gate → take the scenic area sightseeing bus → Baoxiang Temple → take the sightseeing bus → Shizhong Temple Grottoes. The distance from the gate sightseeing bus starting point to Baoxiang Temple bus stop is about 3 km, and from Baoxiang Temple bus stop to Shizhong Temple bus stop is about 9 km. The whole trip takes about 3-4 hours.
- In-depth route: If time permits and you are physically fit, after visiting Baoxiang Temple, you can head to the Jinding Temple area. Starting from Baoxiang Temple, the mountain road is rugged, with about 2 hours of climbing, approximately 4 hours round trip.

🏞️Main Attractions
- Haiyunju: Built in the late Ming Dynasty, it is the first temple upon entering the Shibao Mountain scenic area, known for its tranquility and elegance, suitable for peaceful visits.
- Baoxiang Temple: Known as the "Hanging Temple" of Yunnan, it is a famous Buddhist site in northwest Yunnan, founded in the Tang Dynasty. The temple features exquisite Ming and Qing architecture and sculptures. The temple pavilions and terraces are connected by plank roads embedded in the cliff.
- Shizhong Mountain Grottoes: The core attraction of Shibao Mountain, with 17 caves distributed in the Shizhong Temple, Shiziguan, and Shadengqing areas. Currently, only the Shizhong Temple area is open due to cultural relic protection needs, showcasing the grotto culture and art of the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdom periods.
