Xitang, don't go there lightly, listen to my real feelings!

🎀 I've been to many ancient towns in Jiangnan, and Xitang gives me a very special feeling. It has the gentle and tender charm of Jiangnan water towns, and also has its own unique liveliness and fireworks atmosphere. The thousand-meter-long covered corridor shelters people from wind and rain; the bar street at night is bustling; and those narrow and deep alleys seem to hide countless stories.

📸Check-in points:

- Covered Corridor: A thousand-meter-long corridor with ancient charm. Whether it's sunny or rainy, walking through it is a scenery.
- Songzi Laifeng Bridge: Unique shape, the bridge is divided into two sides, one side is a slope, the other side is steps, symbolizing the wish for a son or daughter.
- Tangdong Street: Bars are gathered, brightly lit at night, very lively.
- Huixiu Bridge: Spanning over a small river, standing on the bridge, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ancient town.

🍽Food:

- Granny Guan's Stinky Tofu: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a fragrant smell.
- Gorgon Cake: Soft and sweet, with various flavors.
- Dried Plum Vegetable Pancake: Crispy and delicious, moderately salty and fragrant.

🏠Accommodation: I chose a riverside inn within the scenic area. At night, you can hear the sound of flowing water, and in the morning, when you open the window, you see picturesque scenery, but the price is relatively high during peak season.

🚌Transportation: I took the high-speed train to Jiashan South Station, then took bus K222 directly to the scenic area. If driving, there are multiple parking lots near the scenic area to choose from.

🎫Tickets: Adult ticket 95 yuan/person, including the main entrance ticket and all open small attractions, allowing three entries and exits. Tickets taken after 2 pm are automatically extended for one day.

🎉Travel experience: Xitang is quiet and simple during the day. Walking through the alleys, you can feel the traces of time, and every step feels like walking on a long scroll of history. In the evening, the afterglow of the sunset spills over the water, covering the entire ancient town with a golden veil, beautiful enough to intoxicate people. At night, taking a boat ride with a gentle breeze and the dazzling lights on both sides, at that moment, it feels like all worries are left behind. This trip to Xitang really made me linger, and that unique charm has been lingering in my heart.
