| A Poetic Journey Through Nature and History
🌄 Recently visited Huangqi Mountain in Jieyang and was absolutely amazed! Want to share this beauty with everyone~
Huangqi Mountain is located in the northern suburbs of Jieyang city, just 4 km from downtown. Xiaocui Road extends all the way to the park entrance, with the Rongjiang River meandering at the mountain's base. The location is superb, and transportation is super convenient.
🚗 Transportation Guide:
- Bus: Many city bus routes go there, such as Line 1, Loop A, and Loop B. Get off at Huangqi Mountain Station and walk to the entrance. Fare: ¥2-3, some accept mobile payment. Operating hours: mostly 6:30 AM - 6:35 PM, with buses every 10-30 minutes (check at stops).
- Drive: Navigate to "Huangqi Mountain Parking Lot" (parking fee ~¥10). Follow Xiaocui Road from downtown—easy drive with clear signage.
- Taxi: From downtown, base fare is ¥5/2 km, then ¥2.2/km + ¥1 surcharge. ~3.3 km trip costs ~¥8 (7 mins), but confirm local rules/traffic beforehand.
🎈 Itinerary:
- Morning: Start at the entrance → Tingsong Terrace (high elevation, pine trees, panoramic city/Rongjiang views, great photos) → Huangqi Mountain Martyrs' Cemetery (honor heroes from various historical periods; great for patriotic education).
- Lunch: Head down for food! Must-try: Rongjiang Restaurant's raw fish (fresh slices with dipping sauces) or Qishan Snacks' Jieyang rice rolls (soft wrappers, rich fillings).
- Afternoon: Return uphill → Ancient Temple Bells (Lüyun Temple: red walls, incense, 800-year-old locust tree) → Qishan Tower (iconic summit viewpoint for breathtaking mountain/temple vistas).
- Evening: Bustling night market at the base—try crispy wings, sweet pancakes, or shop for Chaoshan wood carvings/bamboo crafts.
🌟 Must-See Spots:
- Tingsong Terrace: Perfect blend of city and nature (stunning sunrise/sunset with pine sounds).
- Martyrs' Cemetery: Solemn tribute to history's heroes.
- Lüyun Temple: Historic architecture, spiritual ambiance, and legendary locust tree.
- Qishan Tower: Landmark with unparalleled panoramic views.
👕 Attire: Wear comfy sneakers/hiking shoes + breathable sportswear. Bring mosquito repellent, sun protection (sunny days), or rain gear (overcast/drizzle).
💡 Tips:
1. Preserve nature—no littering.
2. Stay safe on steep trails.
3. Respect religious/cultural sites.
This trip offered both breathtaking scenery and profound historical immersion—truly unforgettable!
