In-depth experience at the Sheraton Jinan Hotel: The unique charm of an established hotel

Elegant and magnificent hotel exterior and lobby

The hotel opened in 2009 and was renovated in 2018. The charm precipitated by time is unique. Stepping into the lobby, the high ceilings, sparkling crystal chandeliers, and exquisite decorations all reveal a grand and elegant atmosphere. It is indeed a long-established star-rated hotel, full of a sense of prestige.

Comfortable and spacious rooms with stunning views

During check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an Olympic Sports Center View King Room. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. As soon as I lay down, the fatigue of the journey instantly dissipated. The room furnishings retain a distinct sense of age, such as the bathtub, which is different from the simple and stylish design of new hotels, but full of retro charm. Opening the curtains, the magnificent scenery of the Jinan Olympic Sports Center comes into full view, and the headquarters of the Langchao Group in the distance is also clearly visible. The sun is shining during the day, and the lights are brilliant at night. Every scene is as beautiful as a painting. Another time I stayed, the room was particularly large, with a kitchen at the entrance. Both the living room and bedroom were equipped with large desks. Although the bathroom had a sense of age, the space was spacious and grand.

Rich and diverse dining experience

The breakfast selection is fairly standard, with bread, eggs, milk, and hot dishes all available, as well as Jinan specialties such as Bazirou (braised pork) and tofu pudding. The hotel hosts various corporate events year-round, so the breakfast period is very crowded and lively. However, the experience at the Japanese restaurant was not good, and I hope the hotel can improve it. The coffee bar on the first floor of the lobby has a great atmosphere. Originally, you needed to purchase something to enter, but after I explained to the waiter that I wanted to go in to work, they readily agreed and even thoughtfully poured me water. The service was excellent.

Enthusiastic and thoughtful service and superior location

From the front desk check-in to the room service, the staff were enthusiastic, attentive, and responsive to every request. The hotel is located in the Olympic Sports Center area on the east side of Jinan, which is more prosperous than the downtown area, with complete surrounding facilities. For business travelers who need to catch a plane or go to Jinan East Railway Station the next day, the transportation is very convenient, which can greatly save commuting time.

🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: The soundproofing is good, and the room is basically free from outside interference. The hygiene is excellent, and the room is cleaned and tidy.

🏘️Room Type/Layout: The room layout is reasonable, the space is spacious, and the functional areas are clearly divided. Room types with a kitchen are quite unique.

🛌Amenities/Facilities: The bedding is soft and comfortable, the toiletries are complete, and the facilities are well-equipped. Although some facilities have a sense of age, they do not affect their use.

💗Other tips: You can communicate your room type needs with the hotel in advance; the hotel hosts many events, so breakfast time may be crowded, so please arrange your time accordingly; if you have requirements for the view, you can make a note when booking.

Although the hotel is a bit old, the excellent service, beautiful views, and comfortable accommodation experience are enough to make up for the minor flaws. If you are on a business trip to Jinan and are a Marriott member, this hotel is highly recommended.
