Taoyangli consists of the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit - the Imperial Kiln Site, as well as the Imperial Kiln Museum, surrounding alley residences, guild halls, kiln clusters, ceramic industrial heritage, and other historical and cultural relics.
Historically, the phrase 'Taoyang Thirteen Li, Ten Thousand Houses of Smoke' refers to this area.
Our itinerary for the day was: Entering from the South Gate, following the main path in the park to the lawn in front of Longzhu Pavilion, where there is a very popular photo spot 'Ceramic Frame Position'. We queued for about thirty minutes.
After taking photos, we went directly to the Imperial Kiln Museum for a visit, then strolled through the alleys next to the museum. Finally, we took some photos at Longzhu Pavilion.
Tips: The Imperial Kiln Museum is inside the Taoyangli Scenic Area and is free but requires a reservation. You need to buy a ticket to enter the Taoyangli Scenic Area first.
The Imperial Kiln Museum is near the North Gate, and the Longzhu Pavilion photo spot is near the South Gate. The South Gate is the visitor center, and it is generally the entrance.
