Hexi Corridor - Western Han Jiuquan Scenic Spot Park

According to legend, Huo Qubing won a great victory over the Xiongnu and Emperor Wu of Han gave him imperial wine. Huo Qubing poured spring water into the wine and drank it with his soldiers. From then on, the place was named "Jiuquan".
In the park, there are stone tablets from the Qing Dynasty that read "Scenic Spots of Jiuquan in the Western Han Dynasty" and "Ancient County of Jiuquan in the Han Dynasty", as well as a plaque with the words "Great Daigo of the Earth" written by Zuo Zongtang. It has become a must-see for tourists on their trip to Jiuquan.
