Entering the fairyland: a journey to the secret place of Kagoshima🌳

I went to the historical and beautiful "Sengan Garden" during my trip to Kagoshima and was deeply attracted by its charm😍

"Sengan Garden" is located on the coast north of Kagoshima City. It was built in 1658 and was originally the residence of the Shimazu family. 🌺 It has a long historical background🌳

As soon as I entered the garden, I was shocked by the scenery in front of me. The background of the garden is the active volcano Sakurajima and Kinko Bay. The scenery is magnificent and changes charmingly with each season. 🌸🌊

In this garden, I also visited the Iso Garden, the Shoko Shuzokan, and the Imperial Palace, which showcase traditional gardens, modern industrialization, and the history of the Shimadzu family. Especially the spectacular view of the active volcano Sakurajima from Senganen is a place where every tourist will definitely take photos. 🌋🌸

🍽️In addition to the natural beauty and historical culture, Kagoshima's special food is also a must-try! 😋😋
You can’t miss the famous dessert “Two Sticks”, which is made by skewering two mochi on two bamboo sticks and grilling them until they are slightly charred, then drizzling them with sweet soy sauce or miso. It has a sweet taste and is very memorable. 🍡

You can also enjoy the traditional "Satsuma Kiriko glass cutting craft". The glass artworks made with exquisite craftsmanship shine like crystal✨

I suggest that you must arrange half a day to visit Senganen in Kagoshima and leisurely appreciate this beautiful corner. 🌸
