Chikan Ancient Town Cultural Tour

Chikan Ancient Town is located on the banks of the Tanjiang River in the central part of Kaiping City, Guangdong Province. With a history of 370 years, Chikan Ancient Town was developed by the Guan family in the upper part and the Situ family in the lower part of the town. It boasts over 600 arcade buildings and was recognized as a Chinese Historical and Cultural Town in 2007. The ancient town showcases the commercial prosperity and daily life of Chikan in the early 20th century. The unique arcade buildings and the experience of touring the town on a tram offer a distinctive charm, with numerous picturesque spots for photography. The town features various performances, including fireworks shows, singing and dancing, lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and clown interactions with children, making it a delightful experience for visitors.
