Sunset at Ubirr and its ancient rock paintings: Indescribably moving
When visiting Kakadu, sunset at Ubirr is a must-see. Climbing to the rocky lookout offers a 360-degree view of the floodplain, the scenery is indescribably magnificent. Even more moving, before sunset, I spent some time admiring the ancient rock paintings. These works of art, dating back tens of thousands of years, are more than just patterns; they are imprints of time, telling the history and beliefs of this land. Standing there, I felt a deep connection with this ancient land. Although September is crowded, if you find a good spot, you can still enjoy the unique tranquility and awe-inspiring atmosphere. This trip has given me a deeper understanding of the origins of human civilization and the depth of Indigenous culture.
